We’re looking for a dynamic and driven Travel Insurance  Product Owner to join our team and play a critical role in shaping the future of our Travel platform and digital experiences. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, customer needs, and technology execution. As Product Owner, you’ll be empowered to deliver value through innovative product capabilities that improve efficiency, create clarity, and deliver a differentiated customer experience.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams—business leaders, engineers, and partners—to define product requirements, prioritize features, and support iterative delivery aligned with our long-term strategic goals. 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• In partnership with Product Manager, own and articulate the product vision for Travel digital distribution capabilities, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs. 
• Write clear, detailed, and testable user stories and acceptance criteria based on stakeholder requirements, with an emphasis on delivering incremental value. 
• Drive backlog refinement and partner with development teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery. 
• Partner with Product, Technology, Claims, Sales and Marketing teams to ensure alignment and support the rollout of user-focused solutions. 
• Act as the voice of the customer and business user throughout the development lifecycle. 
• Manage dependencies across teams and initiatives, proactively identifying and resolving delivery obstacles. 
• Use data and feedback to guide continuous enhancements and iterations. 
• Deliver demos and updates to leadership and end-users. 
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and internal controls. 
• Follow Agile best practices and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the product and delivery teams. 

 Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

• 5–8 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role. 
• Proven ability to turn strategy into action in Agile environments. 
• Strong collaboration skills with a proven ability to influence across business, technology, and leadership teams. 
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and visual), including the ability to tailor messaging to varied audiences. 
• Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform decisions, identify trends, and drive product direction. 
• Comfortable managing multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. 
• Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent for product documentation and tracking. 
• Mindset of ownership, curiosity, and customer empathy with a bias for action. 
• High degree of organization, individual initiative, personal accountability and comfort in working in a high-paced delivery environment, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines effectively.

The base salary range for this position in Stevens Point, WI is $90,000 to $115,000, along with annual bonus eligibility. Total compensation for a candidate is determined by their relevant skills, location, and experience.
