Other lines of business such as Products, Energy, Manufacturing, and Transportation accounts are also supported. The position reports directly to the VP Casualty Risk Control, however all Risk Engineers at BHSI are fully integrated with the Underwriting Team(s). In support of our North American region, the following BHSI office locations will be considered: Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Seattle.Duties & Responsibilities:Evaluate complex technical risks and exposures that could impact a wide book of businessCreate content and other resources to address emerging and changing issuesSupport the underwriting process through individual risk assessments and technical researchLead customer visits for the purposes of improving our knowledge of the riskParticipate in customer and broker meetings to strengthen our relationships and deliver our value add propositionSupport other lines of business as needed. Qualifications, Skills and Experience:8 years of strong experience working in safety engineering, risk management and/or loss control disciplines Advanced knowledge of exposures and controls in casualty lines of business with a strong technical background in the construction industry. Total compensation for a candidate is determined by their relevant skills, location, and experience.
