What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ophthalmic Technician position at Berkshire Eye Center?
Berkshire Eye Center is excited to welcome more clinical professionals to our team. We pride ourselves on being the area’s leader in eyecare and are currently accepting applications for candidates who have a positive attitude and value quality patient care. At lease 2 years in a medical office setting is required. We provide in-house training, including continuing educational opportunities, to the right candidate.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: rooming patients, obtaining medical histories, checking intraocular pressures, and performing various tests such as refractions, A-scans, OCTs, and visual fields.
Applicants must be reliable, eager to learn, and flexible with their schedules. Computer experience and the ability to effectively multi-task are also required. Travel is required to our other location. This position is a vital part of the team and requires the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with our patients, doctors, and staff.
