Entry Level Customer Service and Sales Rep

A Breezeline Sales Trainee is responsible for promoting and selling our products/services directly to homeowners within designated neighborhoods. You will play a vital role in expanding our customer base directly, increasing sales revenue, and contributing to the overall success of our company.As an Entry Level Sales Trainee, you will receive a competitive base salary as well as earning commissions for your sales!***Schedule:Training: Monday through Friday 12:00 PM - 7:00 PMAfter Training: Monday thru Friday 1:00 PM -8:00 PM***Be able to commute with a reliable as this role does include travelingREPORTS TOSales ManagerSUPERVISESNo direct reportsMay lead, train, or participate in work team assignmentsESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Conduct door-to-door sales presentations to homeowners, showcasing the benefits and features of our products/services, engaging in sales outside the office up to 90% of the time.Prospect and identify potential customers in assigned residential areas, using strategic approaches to initiate conversations and secure sales appointments.Educate homeowners on the advantages of our products/services and addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have.Customize sales pitches based on individual homeowner needs and preferences, aiming to close sales effectively.Accurately record and maintain customer information, sales activities, and sales leads in the provided CRM system.Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales targets and goals set by the Sales Manager.Collaborate with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to optimize sales strategies, campaigns, and promotional activities.Participate in regular sales training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner, adhering to all company policies and industry regulations.Provide exceptional customer service and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any post-sale inquiries or concerns.Driving duties include driving to and from locations within the network footprint, sometimes with a partner, to engage in direct sales.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESExcellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to make presentations to homeowners or various groupsExceptional customer service skillsAbility to evaluate situations and adjust to changing prioritiesAbility to maintain a professional demeanorAbility to learn CRM software and other relevant sales toolsProficiency in Microsoft Office SoftwareQUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma or equivalentValid drivers’ license and reliable transportationCandidate must be willing to reside near or commute to a Breezeline office (Currently within Illinois: Taylorville, Hillsboro; Indiana: Terre Haute, Fargo, ND and Morgantown, West Virginia)Candidates which have the following will have priority:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.Experience in sales, preferably in a door-to-door or direct sales role.WORKING ENVIRONMENTBoth office environment and outside sales, office time 10%, outside sales 90%Regular travel within the network footprint to engage in outside salesMust have access to your own reliable transportationOccasional travel to industry conventions or trainingPHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
