Summary of position:
Coordinate the effective implementation of the Family Engagement and Community Partnership Service Areas of the Head Start program.

Job Responsibilities (see attached job description for additional details):

• Work collaboratively and effective as a key member of the Head Start Leadership team to provide quality services to children and families, including but not limited to, strategic planning, data review, self-assessment, and community needs assessment.
• Provide support and oversight in order to maintain an effective family engagement team.
• Support the coordination process and recruitment activities of potential children and families for the program.
• Attend parent meetings and conduct home visits as needed in order to support the Family Engagement Team to provide services and information to Head Start families.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Family Services, Counseling, or related field. If degree is not in the related field, must have previous experience in social work. Must possess the potential for professional growth and development.
• Minimum of three years experience working with children and/or families.
• Ability to work with and relate to young children and families of diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrated effective supervisory and training skills.
• Strong organizational skills, problem-solving ability, adherence to time-sensitive deadlines, ability to be flexible and adaptable to change, time management skills, and organizational skills.

Schedule:
Full-time, 12 months/year

Salary:
Per Head Start Salary Scale. Rates starting at $59,955.76/year
