The internship or co-op program provides highly motivated and qualified students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, receive valuable on-the-job training, and deepen their understanding of business and technology in a real-world setting. Participants are fully embedded within their assigned teams, where they contribute to meaningful projects, collaborate with professionals across departments, and develop practical skills aligned with their academic background and career interests. This experience is designed to bridge classroom learning with professional application, offering exposure to industry tools, technologies, and leadership engagement.

As a Sales & Marketing Intern Co-op, you won’t just be watching from the sidelines—you’ll be in the game. You’ll get hands-on experience with real tools like Salesforce, Service Now, Power BI, Jira, and Microsoft Dynamics, working alongside an engaged and supportive team that’s excited to help you grow.
You’ll be involved in everything from documenting business processes and managing users to building dashboards and visualizing workflows. You’ll also get exposure to Agile methodologies, shadow engineering teams, and learn how platforms are designed and maintained. Along the way, you’ll sharpen skills in data analysis, process mapping, requirement gathering, QA testing, and even light data modeling using tools like Visio and Power BI. Support Technical Operations
- Assist with troubleshooting hardware/software issues, configuring systems, and supporting installations, moves, and upgrades.
- Work on assigned projects that align with their academic background and team objectives. These may include software development, cybersecurity, data analysis, or infrastructure support.
- Help resolve service tickets, support desktop and laptop users, and respond to technical inquiries with a customer-service mindset.
- Maintain documentation for IT processes, assist in testing and implementation, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Engage with cross-functional teams, participate in meetings, contribute to team goals and shared deliverables.
- Interns are embedded in their teams and gain exposure to real-world IT environments, tools, and workflows.
- Each student is typically paired with a coach or mentor to guide their development and integration into the team.
- At the end of the program, students present their project outcomes and reflect on their learning to BTS leadership.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written), especially for working with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service orientation and a collaborative mindset.
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies.
- Strong passion for technology and cybersecurity
- Comfortable working with data, documentation, and process mapping
- Willingness to ask questions, take initiative, and contribute to team goals
- Prior internship, co-op, or on or off-campus technical experience preferred, but not required
- Participation in extracurricular or leadership activities is a plus but not always required
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- College Status: You must be currently enrolled in a degree program related to the field — or have recently graduated with a relevant degree.
- Completed 2 years of related college course work
- Prior internship, co-op, or technical project experience is a plus but not always required
