Responsibilities and Duties
1) Assisting our climbing arborists from the ground:
- Assist climbers and lift operators to prune, remove, cable and plant trees and shrubs.
- Keep tree work areas safe and clear of branches and other debris; haul branches to the road and run them through chippers; load logs, for removal from the site.
- Communicate effectively with climbers, other ground workers and clients/neighbors to insure their safety.
- Thoroughly clean sites before leaving.
- Safely drive trucks to and from job sites. Back trailers and operate various machines.
2) Responsible for:
- Helping the arborists/climbers to do their jobs.
- Maintaining trucks, chippers, chainsaws and other tools and equipment.
- Keeping tool inventories on trucks.
- Maintaining a safe work site.
- Communicating with customers; protecting them and their property.
Qualifications and Skills
- Driver’s license.
- Clean record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of demanding physical labor experience.
- You must be physically fit, courteous, communicative and attentive.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
