Part-Time Nurse Practitioner – Outpatient Opioid Treatment Program
Location: Moncks Corner, SC (Berkeley County)
Schedule: Part-Time | 3–4 days/week from 5:30 AM–9:30 AM (Days and Times can be flexible)
Clinic Hours: Monday through Friday 5am - 10am.
Are you a compassionate Nurse Practitioner seeking meaningful work in addiction recovery? Join our growing team at our brand-new outpatient opioid treatment clinic.
You’ll play a vital role on our multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals receiving Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for Opioid Use Disorder. Under physician supervision, you’ll help guide patients through their recovery journey with clinical expertise and empathy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments, physical exams, and order/interpret diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with MAT protocols
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, counselors, and other healthcare providers
- Attend team meetings and support outreach/education efforts
- Ensure all care is compliant with regulatory and clinical quality standards
- Stay current with trends in opioid use and evidence-based treatment approaches
Qualifications:
- Experience working with patients affected by substance use disorders is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and advocate for patients
- Effective communication skills—both written and verbal
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-morning clinical environment
Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in South Carolina
- Current SC DEA Registration and SC Controlled Substance License (Schedules II & III)
- Certified in First Aid and CPR
- Availability to work between 5:00 AM–10:00 AM, 3–4 days per week
