What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prep / Line Cook position at Berkeley Springs Brewing?
Berkeley Springs Brewing in Berkeley Springs, WV is looking for one prep / line cook to join our team. We are located on 110 Michigan Ln. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and hard-working.
Responsibilities
- Wash, peel, chop, and grate ingredients like fruits, vegatables, and meats
- Measure and combine ingredients for recipes, including mixing sauces
- Perform preliminary cooking tasks.
- Preparing simple dishes, like salads and assemble components for other menu items
- Keeping kitchen clean and organized by washing dishes, wiping down surfaces, taking out trash & boxes
- Properly store all food items and rotate stock to maintain freshness
- Follow recipes and prep lists
- Follow instuctions from chef and managers
Qualifications
- 18 year or older
- Have a valid driver lincense or reliable transportant
- Stand for long periods of time
- Work nights, weekends and some holidays
- Have reliable babysitting ( if applies )
- Food handler certification from ServSafe
- Reading and understanding recipes and instructions
- Being able to work as a team player
- Time Management
- Attention to details and watching dates
