What are the responsibilities and job description for the EXPERIENCED MILLWRIGHT position at Berkeley Hydraulic Hose?
We’re looking for a skilled Millwright to install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment in our Bayville machine shop & onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Install, align, and level machinery, conveyors, pumps, and gearboxes
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical failures
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Use precision tools, including dial indicators and laser alignment equipment
- Perform basic welding, cutting, and rigging
- Follow all safety procedures and lockout/tagout protocols
Requirements:
- 3 years of millwright experience in an industrial setting
- Strong mechanical and hydraulic/pneumatic knowledge
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various conditions
- Reliable, safety-minded, and a strong team player
