Optician

Berkeley Eye Center, a Texas Vision Care leader for over 60 years seeks experienced optician for Tomball & Champions Forest locations.

This is a full-time position covering two locations in the NW area of Houston. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years' experience assisting patients with optical wear needs including frame styling, lens selection and minor repairs to glasses. ABOC is preferred but not required for employment, provided candidate is willing to become certified within the first year of employment. Contacts Lens I & R experience helpful. No lab work is expected in this position.

Fluency in English & Spanish a big plus

Besides in-depth knowledge of lens and frames we expect our opticians to be professional (both in appearance and service), friendly, reliable and honest.

HOURS OF OPERATION:

MONDAY – THURSDAY: 8:00AM – 5:00PM
FRIDAY: 7:00AM – 1:00PM

Possibly one Saturday shift a month, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Please Note: Schedule will generally involve 3 days at Tomball Location and 2 days at Champions Forest location. (Offices are about 12 miles from each other)
