What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ophthalmic Assistant position at BERKELEY EYE CENTER?
Berkeley Eye Center, a vision care leader in Texas for over 65 years, seeks experienced OPHTHALMICAssistant for Corpus Christi location. LASIK surgical center.
Ideal Candidates have 3 years of technician experience in an ophthalmic environment.
Some occasional travel to local hospital as well as rotating scheduled for on-call and brief Saturday Post-Op assignments (3-4/year).
Skill Set should include:
- Manual Refraction,
- Ability to read glasses on manual lensometer,
- Tonometry,
- Visual Fields,
- OCT,
- A-Scan,
- Topography,
- Computer Skills (experience on Electronic Medical Records a plus but will train OA with proper patient work-up skills)
