Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of medical office experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and reliability
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Bilingual Spanish/English skills preferred
Experience with:
- Patient check-in and check-out procedures
- Appointment scheduling
- Insurance verification
- Multi-line phone systems and professional telephone etiquette
Experience in ophthalmology, optometry, or another vision care setting is highly desirable. However, we welcome candidates with a strong medical office background, stable work history, and an eagerness to learn a new specialty.
