Main Responsibilities
- Program Development: Lead the development of new programs, modify existing ones, and prioritize resource needs.
- Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Drive new program growth, recommend changes to maintain relevance, and foster a culture of innovation.
- Academic Program Reviews: Oversee academic program reviews to ensure quality and excellence.
- Community Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with the business and civic communities.
- Personnel Oversight: Recruit diverse faculty and staff, support professional growth and development, and provide personnel oversight.
Qualifications
- An earned doctorate degree in a relevant discipline.
- A strong record of academic administration experience in higher education.
- Experience with the development and evaluation of new programs and curricula.
- Evidence of innovation and entrepreneurial successes in an academic environment.
- Experience working with specialized accreditors.
- Experience with onsite, online, and blended course delivery methods.
- A minimum of five years of successful teaching experience in a post-secondary institution.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
