SUMMARY Bering Straits Professional Services (BSPS), a company within the BSNC family is currently seeking a qualified Operations Financial Analyst in the Northern Virginia area to manage all financial aspects of government funded projects within but not limited to BSPS.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESThe Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned. Manage all financial aspects of projects with a strong emphasis on FAR compliance, including reviewing contract terms, subcontractor modifications, and ensuring adherence to all financial requirements.Lead detailed cost tracking, budget analysis, forecasting, and monthly financial reviews while monitoring labor, material, and overhead expenses to ensure proper allocation and alignment with contract budgets.Work with Program Managers and corporate accounting to provide financial insights, support audits, conduct subcontract reviews, and identify cost-saving opportunities.Maintain program, travel, procurement, and subcontractor trackers while developing improved processes to streamline financial systems and enhance operational efficiency.Assist with billing, accounts receivable, invoice tracking, and financial reporting to ensure accurate documentation and timely government payments.
