About this position: Roll Off Driver Location – Anchorage, AK

As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Drive a semi-truck and trailer
- Inspect Trucks/Tractors/Trailers before and after every trip or as required by management or DOT
- Maintain accurate driver logs
- Maintain proper documentation per regulatory requirements for transport and disposals
- Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned
- Knowledge of semi-truck operating principles
- Knowledge of roll off cans, and how to pick them up/drop them off
- Ability to drive safely in varying working conditions
- Working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions common to drivers is also required
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be able to work 8-to-12-hour workdays, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- US Citizen
- Ability to be punctual and dependable
- A strong commitment to safety and quality work
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and employees, external vendors and other business associates
- Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions
