Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Work closely with and support a variety of skilled trades and construction activities
- Follow directives from Project Foreman and remain productive
- Load, offload, move, and organize supplies, materials, tools, and small equipment at company yards and job sites
- Prepare work and maintain safe worksites
- Perform trades for long hours, day after day, often in adverse conditions, to complete the project at hand
- Responsible for reporting any incident, situation, or activity that may affect the company’s ability to operate safely, ethically, and profitably to the supervisor and/or the Company Safety Manager.
- Duty to conduct oneself in the best in interest of the company while on job or otherwise representing the company
- Maintain all required certifications per law and/or company policy
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Travel to worksites (may require extended travel)
- Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Level of Experience Requirements: 0-1 years’ experience
- All-around knowledge of materials, terms, and practices in the field of construction
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Ability to work in a team environment and take directions from supervisor(s) and other crew members
- Ability to actively listen and follow instructions
- Ability to work productively under pressure
- Strong self-motivation and work ethic; ability to work with or without direct supervision
- Ability to report to work consistently and on time and work a flexible schedule, up to 12 hours in one day and 7 days in one week.
- Ability to pass a fit-for-duty preemployment physical
- Knowledge of organizational procedures and workflows – understanding how work moves through a company.
- Basic knowledge of relevant technologies or tools – e.g., Microsoft 365, communication platforms, or industry‑standard software.
