Bering Straits Native Corporation (BSNC) is currently seeking qualified summer interns in our Nome office. BSNC is committed to helping prepare tomorrow’s leaders for the workforce by providing a paid 12-week internship to qualified shareholders and descendants. Applicants must be current college students, high school graduates who have been accepted to college or technical school and plan to attend in the fall, or recent college graduates. Applicants must have a minimum 2.0 GPA to be eligible.
Under the direction of the Shareholder Training & Recruitment Supervisor, and in accordance with the guidelines and policies of the company, and local, state, and federal laws, this internship position performs assigned duties, consisting of administrative and clerical tasks (or other duties) in support of various programs, executive leaders, managers, and staff.
At the conclusion of the internship program, BSNC Interns will take part in an exit interview. This interview will cover topics such as job knowledge, teamwork, work habits, work quality, and work ethic. It will provide interns with the chance to reflect on their experience, offer feedback, and discuss their performance throughout the internship.
