Role Description
This is a full-time role as a Staff Accountant at Bering CPA Firm in Indianapolis, IN, with the flexibility for some remote work. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for accounting tasks for our business clients, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. Preparation of Partnership, and both Regular and S corporation income tax returns, and sales, innkeeper, and business tangible personal property tax returns will be a part of the roles of this employee. Assistance with the preparation of individual income tax returns is possible.
Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience with accounting and income tax preparation software (e.g., QuickBooks, Ultra Tax) is a plus
- Strong knowledge of financial statements and GAAP
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
