Program Assistant VI (Strategic Planner)

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is looking for a Program Assistant VI (Strategic Planner) for our government client in Washington, District of Columbia.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Initiate and update records for Generalist, Specialist and Limited Non-Career candidates related to employment and provide guidance to candidates on ranking, deferment, veteran points and language rules and regulations.
• Will respond to email and telephone inquiries from candidates regarding ranking, deferment, language points, veteran points, medical/security clearance and suitability questions.
• Prepare memos and scanning of employment documents to Payroll and Initiate new hires into the travel database, initiate new hire personnel actions (form SF-50) and prepare and forward form SF-75 request for personal data information on transferring employees from other federal agencies.
• Liaise with Records Management for retrieving and retiring hired and closed candidate files and liaise with Diplomatic Security (DS) representatives for processing of candidates who pass the oral assessment.
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

High School Diploma

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Six (6) years of experience
