What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st shift Cycle Count Specialist position at Bergstrom Inc?
Summary:
The Cycle Count Specialist is responsible for day-to-day cycle count activity, including root cause analysis, printing, entering, and running daily and weekly reports. Cycle Count Specialists are also responsible to elevate any discrepancies according to our set standard of sign offs and are also an integral part of the physical inventory process.
Essential Functions:
- Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, Drexel, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies
- Operates large powered industrial equipment in tight and congested areas
- Utilizing JDE and Excel on an intermediate level for data entry and running reports
- Taking Inventory
- Back up other Cycle Count Specialists as needed
- Successfully complete all essential training
- Work on other assignments as assigned
Requirements:
- Knowledge of safety/quality practices and expectations
- Knowledge of respect for product
- Ability to do intermediate administrative work (i.e., filing, organization, etc.)
- Knowledge of basic computer skills (i.e., email, data entry, etc.)
- Ability to effectively communicate
- Skill in operating pallet truck
- Skill in operating powered industrial vehicles in tight and congested areas
- Skill in problem solving at an intermediate level
- Ability to successfully pass written and driving forklift testing to become a certified forklift driver
- Ability to successfully pass written and driving forklift tested to become a certified Drexel driver
- Actively participating in Bergstrom’s continuous improvement environment
- Intermediate knowledge of JDE and Excel
- Knowledge of taking inventory
- Ability to run reports
The budgeted range for this role is $18 USD - $18.21 per hour. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of the desired level of experience for the position.
