Job Title: Food Runner
Reports to: Restaurant Management
Summary: The restaurant Food Runner ensures quality and proper presentation of food in a timely manner while delivering food to tables and assisting waitstaff. This is a general overview of your job duties and these duties may change from time to time.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all menu items.
- Carry food from the kitchen slide to customers’ tables in an efficient manner.
- Communicate with waitstaff to determine any customer needs and relay requests.
- Restock the service station and assist in keeping the expo line clean.
- Assist with setting up large party tables.
- Assist with expediting online and to-go orders.
- Perform additional duties as requested by management
Requirements
- Must possess a pleasant personality and maintain a neat, clean appearance.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and to follow instructions.
- Must have mental and physical stamina to work quickly for long hours.
- Must be able to lift and carry 30lbs. Able to frequently bend stoop, reach, lift, carry, and wipe.
