Roofing Canvasser
Bergeron Construction is looking for a motivated and outgoing Roofing Canvasser to join our growing team! In this role, you will visit neighborhoods, connect with homeowners, and help identify potential roofing inspection opportunities.
The ideal candidate is comfortable speaking with people, enjoys working outdoors, and has a positive attitude. Roofing experience is a plus but not required. We are willing to train the right person who is dependable, eager to learn, and ready to earn based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Go door-to-door in assigned neighborhoods to introduce Bergeron Construction and our roofing services.
- Speak with homeowners to identify potential roof damage, including damage caused by hail or windstorms.
- Schedule roofing inspections for interested homeowners.
- Collect accurate contact information and appointment details.
- Explain the purpose of a roof inspection and answer basic questions professionally.
- Record leads, homeowner information, and scheduled inspections in the company's CRM or tracking system.
- Follow up with homeowners when needed to confirm inspection appointments.
- Represent Bergeron Construction professionally and maintain a positive attitude.
- Meet daily and weekly canvassing and inspection-setting goals.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable approaching homeowners and speaking with strangers.
- Willingness to work outdoors and walk through assigned neighborhoods.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and goal-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation to assigned work areas.
- Previous door-to-door sales, canvassing, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
Requirements
- Must have a reliable vehicle for traveling to assigned neighborhoods.
- Must have a working smartphone for communication, recording leads, and scheduling roofing inspections.
- Must be comfortable with door-to-door canvassing and speaking with homeowners.
- Must be dependable, self-motivated, and willing to work outdoors.
Compensation
- *$10 per hour*
- *Additional $40 per inspection* for each qualifying inspection, subject to company policy.
- Opportunity to increase earnings through consistent performance.
