What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Project Manager position at BERGER CONCRETE INC?
Berger Concrete, Inc., is a successful general engineering and concrete company located in the heart of Sonoma Valley, specializing in challenging foundations, custom flatwork, excavation, and a wide range of engineering projects. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Project Manager to join our team and help lead our projects across the Northbay.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and underground work, with concentration in concrete and project layout. This individual should be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating labor schedules, and ensuring timely project completion. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate proficiency in project planning, management, and execution from start to finish.
Key qualifications and skills we are seeking include:
- Ability to read and interpret plans and job specifications accurately
- Proficiency in calculating concrete quantities, ordering materials, and scheduling subcontractors.
- Competence in completing daily paperwork and maintaining detailed project documentation. Making sure all Changes Orders are accounted for and track projects for invoicing.
- Strong problem-solving skills, effective communicator and team player.
- Proficiency in construction software.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred but not mandatory)
Our projects are diverse and demanding, requiring a dedicated leader who can oversee all aspects of project execution efficiently and safely.
