Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial areas, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and outdoor work as needed
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure health standards are met or exceeded
- Conduct laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items for clients
- Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces by dusting, wiping down fixtures, and sanitizing high-touch areas to prevent the spread of germs
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, steam cleaners, and other tools efficiently and safely
- Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting or moving furniture and equipment with proper technique to prevent injury
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their specific cleaning needs and preferences while providing outstanding customer service
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper handling of cleaning equipment
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the workday
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with physical stamina
- Excellent client communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic knowledge of housekeeping management principles is advantageous but not required
