Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Mental Health Therapist based in Chicago, IL, with the flexibility to work remotely part of the time. The therapist will provide high-quality mental health services, including individual, couples, and family therapy sessions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting assessments, creating personalized treatment plans, leading therapy sessions, and maintaining case documentation. The role also involves collaborating with other professionals and supporting clients in achieving their psychological and relational goals.
Qualifications
- Ability to develop effective Treatment Planning and implement tailored therapeutic strategies
- Experience providing individual and couples counseling
- Demonstrated empathy, active listening, and communication skills
- Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Illinois (LCSW, LCPC, LPC, LMFT, PsyD, PhD or equivalent)
- Previous experience working in a mental health setting and familiarity with diverse populations is preferred
- Proficiency in maintaining confidential records and utilizing electronic health record systems is a plus
