Bergen Community College is accepting applications for adjunct positions in the Radiography department for Summer and Fall 2026.
Radiography Department:
The Bergen Community College Radiography Program cultivates graduates who possess knowledge, clinical competence, ethics, and meet the needs of a diverse community. The program uses engagement and collaboration to help instruct radiography principles that are integral to health care.
Responsibilities:
- Be knowledgeable of program goals, clinical objectives and the clinical evaluation system.
- Provide didactic, laboratory, and/or clinical instruction to students in the radiography program.
- Provides supervision over the student in the clinical/lab setting.
- Keeps attendance and assigns students in their clinical rotations.
- Implements the Trajectsus clinical tracking program during all clinical rotations.
- Evaluates student clinical/lab skills utilizing the program evaluation form.
- Provides constructive feedback to students regarding overall progress.
- Assesses and reports the student’s progress to the Program Director and Clinical Coordinator.
- Enforces the program policies, rules and regulations and documents violations and disciplinary action taken.
- Provides a positive learning environment for student development and success.
- Participates in the adjunct faculty conferences and radiography program faculty meetings.
- Participates in the outcomes assessment process.
- Adheres to contractual obligations.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a JRCERT accredited education program in Radiologic Technology.
- Current NJ Radiography license required.
- Holds a current certification and registration in Radiography from the ARRT.
- Minimum of five years of current clinical experience.
- Teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Rates and Benefits:
- Adjunct rates range from $922 to $960. The pay rates are $938 a credit for adjuncts who have obtained an Associates, $950 for a Bachelor's and $960 for a Master's.
