Assembler
Type of Position: Hourly / Non-Exempt
Reports To: Assembly Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a full time Assembler operator. Responsible to manufacture finished products using sub-assemblies, component parts, and fasteners according to customer specifications and company policies.
Essential Job Functions:
· Position is full-time Monday to Friday; 3:30 pm – 12:00 am
· Operate and maintain equipment safely while conducting high production output, quality, and efficiency levels
· Crimping/swaging end fittings, tubing onto cut-lengths of wire rope using rotary swaging machines, and pneumatic and hydraulic presses
· Magazine Loading of components
· Ability to follow basic work instructions
· Ability to read basic engineering assembly drawings
· Ability to use measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures to ensure dimensional conformance
· Strong attention to detail
· Prioritize multiple orders based on customer delivery dates
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED required
· Minimum of 3 years experience in Assembly or Manufacturing environment required, preferably with hydraulic presses and basic shop equipment
· This position requires standing, walking, kneeling, bending, climbing, pulling, pushing, lifting, and reaching above and below the shoulders.
· Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. required
· Ability to interpret blueprints preferred
