Summary Description
Repair, customize, maintain, or overhaul both customer and dealer-owned motor vehicles as close to the allotted time schedule as possible with excellent quality.

Major Duties and Responsibilities1) Service Department Operations
- Provide prompt, dependable, high-quality vehicle service to customers (internal & external).
- Complete repair work within scheduled time whenever possible; continually improve efficiency.
- Maintain productivity as close to 100% as possible.
- Accept work assignments from Service Writer/Manager.
- Request parts early when needs are known.
- Perform work according to factory specifications.
- Assist Service Writer with work orders, customer communication, test riding, etc.
- Notify Service Writer/Manager of additional work or delays ASAP.
- Ensure proper completion and filing of paperwork after each job.
- Keep work area clean and assist with overall shop cleanliness.
- Maintain technical qualifications by completing assigned training programs.
2) Customer Service
- Minimize comebacks and resolve them promptly and satisfactorily.
- Keep customers’ vehicles cleaner than when received.

Qualifications
- Completion of a factory-authorized training program (e.g., MMI Service School) or equivalent experience
- Current motorcycle license
Job Requirements
Service Technicians must own a set of tools within a specified number of days from hire.
Physical Demands
- Loud work environment
- Frequent use of both hands
- Frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, lifting
- Ability to balance and push a motorcycle
Working Conditions
- Work near moving mechanical parts
- Exposure to chemicals (battery acid, gasoline, cleaning materials)
- Occasional exposure to exhaust fumes or airborne particles
Pay: $22.00 - $45.00 per hour
