Human Resources Generalist
We are looking for a dynamic HR Generalist that is eager to gain valuable experience and develop foundational skills in various areas of HR. This role will be supporting the Beretta U.S.A. HR team in delivering effective HR services and programs to employees and managers across the organization.
1. Recruiting and Onboarding:
a. Assist with job postings on job boards and company sites.
b. Screening resumes and conducting phone screenings of candidates.
c. Coordinating interview schedules and logistics.
d. Conduct new hire onboarding activities, including paperwork and orientation sessions.
2. Employee relations:
a. Providing support to employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
b. Assisting with employee inquiries and requests related to HR matters.
c. Escalating issues to HR management as needed.
d. Assisting with employee programs and events.
3. HR administration
a. Maintaining HR records and databases, including employee files and HRIS systems.
b. Data entry, updating employee information, and generating HR reports on a weekly basis.
c. Managing HR documentation such as offer letters, corrective actions, and notices.
d. Approving and transmitting timesheets to payroll on a weekly basis.
4. HR projects and activities:
a. Assisting with Wellness programs and other seasonal employee events.
b. Contributing ideas and suggestions for process improvements in the HR department.
c. Updating communication boards.
d. Collaborating with other HR team members including payroll to ensure efficient HR operations.
5. Administrative Support:
a. Oversee administrative tasks such as managing office supplies, mail distribution, answering phones, and handling correspondence.
b. Schedule meetings, travel arrangements, preparing documents and presentations.
c. Maintain employee records and filing.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
· At least 2 years of experience of HR practices in a manufacturing or distribution facility.
· Excellent communication skills, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
· Solid understanding of HR principles and employment related laws and regulations.
· Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
· Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
Working demands:
· Onsite office work. Monday to Friday.
· Prolong periods working on a computer.
· Ability to travel occasionally within the U.S.
· Ability to walk around the factory floor.
· Ability to lift and transport up to 15 lbs.
