Role Description

We are an award-winning boutique family law firm specializing in high net worth divorces, currently in need of a senior/supervising attorney with a minimum of 7 years experience in family law. The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing junior attorneys and paralegals and be able to handle their own case load of complex cases independently. The position offers a lot of potential for growth professionally and financially, and attorneys at the firm are eligible for significant bonuses.

The position can be remote or in-person, depending on the candidate's preference. However, we do require our attorneys to be able to attend court as needed in Los Angeles and Orange County.

Pay: $200-260,000 DOE; Open to part-time or hourly basis.

Qualifications

• Strong family law experience in California, including divorce, high-asset property division, custody, visitation, and support matters.
• Demonstrated skills in legal research, drafting complex pleadings and motions, managing discovery, and preparing for hearings and trials.
• Proven ability to negotiate settlements, participate in mediation, and advocate effectively in court.
• Experience supervising and mentoring attorneys and support staff, with a focus on quality control and efficient case management.
• Excellent client communication skills, including the ability to explain legal options clearly, manage expectations, and handle sensitive issues with discretion.
• Licensed to practice law in California and in good standing with the State Bar of California.
• Prior experience with high-net-worth or complex financial matters, including business interests, executive compensation, and real estate, is strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to ethical practice, professionalism, and maintaining client confidentiality.
