Requirements

● Proficiency in operating test equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, thermal imaging analyzers, and optical alignment tools, with the ability to interpret readings for EO systems.

● Strong soldering and desoldering skills for electronic components, ensuring reliable connections in camera circuitry (preferred).

● Foundational knowledge of AC/DC circuits, power systems, and the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings specific to electronics.

● Familiarity with fault-finding techniques for optical, thermal, and mechanical systems in long-range cameras is a plus.

● Basic PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or Google Workspace equivalents, and understanding of networking concepts for camera configuration (e.g., IP addressing for video feeds).

Experience and Education:

● Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in electronics repair, RMA processing, or troubleshooting electronic equipment; 3-5 years preferred, with exposure to thermal imaging or EO technologies a strong plus.

● High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in electronics, electrical engineering technology, or a related field preferred. Certifications in IPC soldering or similar are advantageous.

Other Qualifications:

● US Citizenship required due to the sensitive nature of our public safety and security products.

● Ability to work in an efficient, timely manner in a warehouse environment, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.

● Willingness to travel locally within the St. Petersburg, FL, and surrounding areas (e.g., Tampa Bay region) as needed.

● Commitment to following health and safety guidelines, including ESD protocols and hazardous material handling if applicable.
