This is a temporary position.
This position provides individual, group, and couples therapeutic counseling for students. The Counselor will identify and work with community agencies to provide referral services and crisis intervention programs for students. In addition, the Counselor will
help develop and participate in staff training as well as function as a team member and leader in the development and offering of education and preventative student development programs with an emphasis on mental health issues.

- Individual, group, and couples therapeutic counseling;
- Maintain documentation of client files in accordance with professional best practices;
- Develop and present educational and preventative programs;
- Consult with Student Affairs staff and faculty members.
What You'll Bring
Education required to ensure success in this position:
- Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
- Individual, group, and couples psychotherapy, preferably in Higher Education.
- Counseling skills; outreach presentation skills; crisis management skills.
- Valid and current Kentucky license to practice mental health therapy.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
