Position Overview
BEPC Inc is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect with deep expertise in Azure GovCloud and FedRAMP to support government-sector technology initiatives. In this role, you will lead enterprise-level architecture strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor a team of IT architects. This is a high-impact position focused on shaping scalable, secure, and compliant cloud solutions while aligning technology strategy with business objectives.
You will work on a hybrid schedule out of the Charlotte, North Carolina location and report directly to the assigned manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of IT architects responsible for Azure GovCloud and FedRAMP-compliant architectures
- Define and execute enterprise IT architecture strategies aligned with government-sector business goals
- Oversee planning and implementation of scalable, secure, and compliant Azure GovCloud solutions
- Ensure adherence to FedRAMP and architecture governance standards across all projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and innovation within the architecture function
- Manage architecture planning budgets while maintaining cost-effective, high-quality solutions
- Prioritize projects and allocate resources to meet strategic objectives
Required Qualifications (You Must Have)
- 8 years of experience in IT architecture planning
- Minimum of 3 years in a leadership or managerial role
- Strong expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies
- Proven experience with Azure GovCloud and FedRAMP compliance
- Demonstrated success managing complex architecture projects end-to-end
- Excellent leadership, mentoring, and decision-making skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities in fast-paced environments
Preferred Qualifications (We Value)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience using IT architecture tools such as Enterprise Architect or MEGA
- Background in driving digital transformation initiatives
