DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Assist in planning and leading daily lessons, activities, and routines. • Support individual and small-group instruction to meet each child’s needs. • Maintain a safe, positive, and well-organized classroom environment. • Supervise children during classroom activities, transitions, meals, and outdoor play. • Encourage positive social skills and respectful behavior. • Work collaboratively with the Lead Teacher and program staff to ensure a high-quality preschool experience. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Child Development Associate (CDA) credential required within the first year of employment; Benzie Early Childhood Programs will provide support to help you obtain it. • Experience working with young children is preferred. • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. • A passion for early childhood education and supporting children’s growth and development.
