Building Tech Support GR 5-12
Salary: $18-$24/hr dependent upon experience
Position Purpose
Under the general supervision of the Director of Technology, to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair all assigned district hardware/software systems.
Essential Performance Responsibilities
* Assist district staff and students with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of hardware and software
* Offer daily operations and systems support to staff and students
* Verify functionality of hardware and software components
*Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in person, remotely and via phone
*Assist staff and students with hardware/software problems and answer their questions
*Track inventory and work progress in district helpdesk/asset management software
Additional Duties:
Performs other related tasks as assigned.
Equipment:
Uses personal computers, scanners, printers and related equipment.
Travel Requirements:
Travel to central technology office at least once a week.

Qualifications Profile
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
* High School diploma.
* Industry certifications preferred (CompTIA, Microsoft, HP, Dell, Lenovo, Google)
* Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide own transportation.
* Verified successful experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting PC, laptop, and mobile hardware/software.
