We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, and other financial systems
- Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial statements
- Process payroll and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions efficiently
- Prepare journal entries, double-entry bookkeeping, and general ledger entries in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Conduct account analysis and account reconciliation to verify data integrity across various accounts
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role with familiarity in public accounting or corporate accounting environments
- Strong knowledge of accounting concepts including debits & credits, double-entry bookkeeping, and general ledger management
- Proficiency in multiple accounting software platforms such as QuickBooks (including QuickBooks Online), Xero, Sage, and other financial software tools
- Experience with payroll processing.
- Excellent skills in spreadsheets (Excel or similar) along with 10-key typing proficiency for efficient data entry
- Ability to perform account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and account analysis accurately and efficiently
- Knowledge of GAAP standards and technical accounting principles required for precise financial reporting
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy
