What are the responsibilities and job description for the Independent Contractor Delivery Driver – Chicago position at Bentocart?
We're looking for reliable independent contractor delivery drivers to deliver fresh, locally sourced meals to customers across Chicago.
We offer consistent delivery opportunities four days a week: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with routes planned in advance.
This opportunity is a great fit for drivers with experience working with Uber Eats, DoorDash, Amazon Flex, Instacart, or other local delivery services.
Spanish speakers are welcome as well.
Compensation:
- Pay will be fairly calculated by the number of stops in your route
Shifts:
- Sunday 5pm
- Monday 6am
- Wednesday 5pm
- Thursday 6pm
Requirements:
- Must be available to work Sunday/Monday.
- Prior delivery experience required.
- Reliable vehicle with good carrying capacity (2015 or newer).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Proof of auto insurance (per CA state law).
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Smartphone with reliable internet.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Strong work ethic, customer service skills, and a professional attitude.
- Willingness to learn and accept feedback.
- Professional references and a background check may be required.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
