Job Overview
A Bucket Truck Operator at a residential tree company is responsible for safely operating an aerial lift (bucket truck) to access high branches and remove trees, trim, or prune them. They also operate other equipment like chainsaws, pruners, and chippers, and may assist with tree climbing(if able). They work in residential areas, often clearing trees around power lines or for general tree care. Experience Is required, as well as the ability to lead a residential tree crew on site. This is not line clearance type forman job, need the be able to talk with home owners and have a respectful attitude that shows professionalism. Don’t need a perfect candidate but looking for Someone with experience and willingness to lead a crew day to day that is reliable.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in tree care or related field(1year or more)
- Ability to operate and maintain equipment
- Strong commitment to safety
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb trees and work at heights
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Ability to run a job site in a orderly manner
- Knowledge and understanding of various types of tree work
