Electro-Mechanical Service Technician

Role Description The Electro-Mechanical Service Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Colorado, UT. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electro-mechanical systems and modular assemblies used in mission-critical data center infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include performing preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues, replacing or repairing components, and verifying proper system operation in accordance with technical documentation and safety standards. The technician will collaborate closely with engineering, fabrication, and field teams, document service activities, and support commissioning and integration of modular units into live or phased facilities. This position also involves responding to service calls, supporting continuous improvement of maintenance procedures, and ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to quality expectations.
Qualifications

• Strong electro-mechanical aptitude, including experience working with electrical panels, motors, sensors, and mechanical assemblies.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Hands-on experience with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial or building systems (e.g., HVAC, power distribution, pumps, controls).
• Knowledge of safety practices, lockout/tagout procedures, and applicable electrical and mechanical codes and standards.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools, test instruments, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a field team.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with colleagues, customers, and documenting service activities.
• Willingness to work on-site, occasionally travel to project locations, and perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, and working in industrial environments.
• Previous experience in data center, industrial, construction, or mission-critical environments is beneficial.
