About the Role
This role involves extensive communication with clients and production staff, managing multiple projects, and ensuring excellent customer service while overseeing production managers and the sales team.
Responsibilities
- Communicate extensively with clients and production staff efficiently.
- Manage multiple projects and project managers, prioritize workflow and support a multidisciplinary team.
- Build confidence and trust with internal and external constituencies and provide excellent customer service.
- Work with our sales team and oversee production managers to design and prep all A/V oriented events, including the creation of gear and crewing lists in our database program.
- Work closely with sales team and production managers to understand client needs and requirements.
- Coordinate with our freelance technical staff on what is expected of them for each job.
- Implement production policies and procedures to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Oversee production staff on event locations and ensure client production needs are met.
- Manage Lighting & A/V shop personnel to control company inventory and rentals from vendors.
- Maintain a working knowledge of lighting, rigging, staging and audio visual equipment.
Venue Relations
- Build and manage relationships with the venue staff as applicable.
- Manage in house production gear is top working order in all exclusive venues.
Pricing/Margins
- Communicate with the Production Manager where applicable for costs on crew, rentals, and special purchases ensuring job is on margin.
- Assist the Production Manager in managing event budgets.
Event Execution
- Help Production team to manage to quality, timing, and budgetary guidelines.
- Continually strive to grow and improve the best practices skills needed to deliver client satisfaction on every job.
Production Metrics
- Meet with COO at requested times to review team progress vs. team goals.
- Gear and crewing lists completed 2 weeks out on a consistent basis.
- Keeping Production team happy and invested in company culture.
- Maintain a working knowledge of lighting, rigging, staging and audio visual equipment.
Other duties as assigned
Salary : $100,000 - $150,000
