A Banquet Server is responsible for the set up and the service of all assigned banquet functions.

A Banquet Server is responsible for the set up and the service of all assigned banquet functions.
Responsibilities
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees with a smile.
- Check guests for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with federal, state, local and company laws and regulations.
- Know how to read the Banquet Event Order and be familiar with the menu of the assigned function.
- Monitor cleanliness and proper sanitation of service bar, stations and service areas.
- Accommodate any special requests made by a guest or offer appropriate alternatives.
- Ensure guests are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
- Clear, clean and reset tables as needed.
- Perform any other duties as requested by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field a PLUS.
- Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service a PLUS
- Must be willing and have the ability to work evenings that may include weekends and holidays
- Full- and part-time positions available.
- Willing and able to stand/walk for entire shift if needed
- Ability to bend, lift, carry and move 25-30 pounds
