Essential Responsibilities
Event Execution
- Lead banquet staff during all assigned events.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate event expectations.
- Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) prior to each event.
- Ensure rooms are properly set according to diagrams and client specifications.
- Coordinate event timing with Culinary.
- Monitor food quality and presentation.
- Maintain service standards throughout the event.
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly.
- Supervise event breakdown and room reset.
- Direct banquet servers and bartenders during service.
- Delegate responsibilities effectively.
- Coach associates in real time.
- Hold team members accountable for service standards.
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol service policies.
- Maintain cleanliness of banquet spaces and storage areas.
- Verify equipment is operational before events.
- Assist with inventory of banquet supplies.
- Complete opening and closing responsibilities.
- Build relationships with event hosts.
- Anticipate guest needs.
- Deliver polished and personalized service.
- Represent the AC Hotel brand professionally.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 2 years banquet or restaurant leadership experience.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication.
- Ability to lead large service teams.
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Food Handler Certification.
- Alcohol Server Certification.
