Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strip vacant rooms of dirty linen and terry, trash, and dirty dishes.
- Separate dirty linen and terry.
- Provide clean linens/terry for VIP rooms, Pet rooms, and deep cleans.
- Take out trash.
- Act a a liaison between room attendants, inspectors, and laundry.
- Communicate with front desk on room status changes.
- Make beds to assist room attendants and inspectors.
- Provide supplies when room attendants/inspectors are in need.
- Restock linen closets with terry/linen and supplies.
- Clean complete rooms to standard.
- Service Stayover (overnight guests) rooms to standard.
- Clean up biohazard or sharps prior to room attendant entering rooms.
- Complete guest requests prior to guest arrival or upon request.
- Perform other tasks/jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
- Ability to bend, lift, carry and move 25-200 pounds
- Ability to work standing or walking for entire shift
- Work with little or no supervision while maintaining high-levels of cleanliness and efficiency/safety
- Strong attention to detail
- Available to work a varied schedule that may include weekends and holidays.
- Ability to communicate with guests and team members.
