Senior Manager, Account Management – Digital Media Sales (Los Angeles)

About the Role:
We’re seeking a Senior Account Manager to serve as a strategic partner to our clients and a leader across the full campaign lifecycle. You will own key advertiser relationships, guide complex media programs, and collaborate closely with Sales, Ad Operations, Creator Partnerships, and strive to deliver exceptional outcomes for all of our clientele.
This role requires someone who understands the digital video ecosystem (YouTube, TikTok, Snap, etc.), brings strong strategic and operational judgment, and has a track record of growing and retaining high-value client partnerships. Key Responsibilities:
Client Leadership & Strategy
- Serve as the primary senior point-of-contact for key clients and agency partners, providing strategic guidance across digital video and creator-driven campaigns
- Develop a deep understanding of client business goals and proactively identify opportunities to drive performance and strengthen long-term relationships
- Lead quarterly business reviews and campaign retrospectives, delivering insights and strategic recommendations
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Sales on RFP strategy delivery, proactive proposals, and high-impact client presentations
- Act as the connective tissue between Sales, Ad Operations, Inventory, Creator Partnerships, and Finance to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction
- Provide internal stakeholders with strategic feedback to improve products, inventory planning, and creator solutions
Campaign Ownership & Delivery Excellence
- Oversee the full campaign lifecycle from planning and launch through optimization and wrap-up ensuring all programs deliver against client KPIs, pacing expectations, and contractual obligations
- Lead troubleshooting efforts, anticipate risks, and drive solutions that maintain campaign performance and client relationships
- Identify optimization opportunities and incremental revenue potential across Reserved/Premium media and branded content
Inventory, Yield & Performance Management
- Own inventory strategy for assigned clients, securing and managing digital video inventory through our internal systems
- Collaborate with the Sales team to forecast availability, secure approvals, and guide revenue-maximizing decisions
- Monitor delivery, pacing, and margin performance, implementing adjustments to maximize outcomes for clients and the business
Operational Oversight & Governance
- Oversee the accurate and timely processing of insertion orders, creative assets, and billing requirements in partnership with Ad Ops
- Ensure documentation, data accuracy, and reporting meet internal standards and client expectations
- Uphold best practices across account management processes and help mentor more junior team members, assisting in the growth of the AM function
Preferred Experience
- 3–5 years in digital advertising, media planning, or account management (YouTube or video ecosystem experience strongly preferred)
- Experience managing and growing strategic client relationships in a vendor-partner environment
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into long term strategy
- Proven success working cross-functionally to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Google Ad Manager and key media platforms
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
Base Salary: $100,000–$125,000 annually, annual performance bonus and long-term incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on experience within the social media and video ecosystem.
