Benson Wealth Management is seeking an Investment Operations Analyst. This role supports financial advisors by managing account processes, handling client services, and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in investment operations. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker with 2-5 years of experience in financial services and a strong willingness to learn and grow in the field.
Responsibilities
· Oversee client onboarding, ensuring all account setup requirements are met and accounts are open.
· Independently compile investment proposals (ENV2, NMCIR, IPG)
· Manage account maintenance processes - setting up ACH, processing account transfers and performing rollover calls with clients.
· Provide ongoing account service and respond to client inquiries.
· Track and manage new business opportunities, ensuring all required documentation is collected and organized.
· Prepare comprehensive reports and materials to support successful client meetings.
· Serve as a liaison between team members to facilitate smooth communication and task management.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a business-related field preferred.
· 2 years of experience in financial services or wealth management.
· Investment licensed (SIE, Series 6 or 7, 63) along with Iowa Life and Health licenses.
· Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
· Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze financial information.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills.
· Proactive mindset with a desire to learn and grow in financial planning.
· Familiarity with financial planning software and investment advisory tools.
