What You’ll Do:
As the Controller at Benson, you will oversee all aspects of financial management, including operational accounting, budgeting, and internal controls. You’ll lead the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and efficient financial operations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and inventory costing.
- Prepare and present accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor budgets, analyze variances, and implement cost control measures to maintain financial health.
- Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, conducting performance reviews and supporting professional growth.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team for strategic decision-making.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including management roles.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems; EFI/PACE is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills for interpreting financial data and trends.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to lead and develop a high-performing accounting team.
