Monitor Technician
Full Time- Nights
Seeking a full time Cardiac Monitor Technician to be responsible for surveillance, recording, reporting, interpretation and troubleshooting technical aspects of electrocardiographic monitors. The Cardiac Monitor Technician functions under the direction of the Registered nurse (RN) as part of the integrated healthcare team and is responsible for administering safe and effective care to patients of Benson Hospital.
Education:
- . High School diploma or GED
- Successful completion of cardiac dysrhythmia recognition & interpretation course
- Current CNA, EMT or Paramedic Certification
- 1 year as monitor tech in coronary care or telemetry unit – Preferred.
- Maintain current certification in non-violent crisis intervention, CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) Certification or ability to complete.
- CPR per the Benson Hospital Policy.
