Experienced Part-Time, Seasonal Banquet Bartender needed to staff the banquet room and tent for the busy
wedding and golf season at our 36 hole golf club. Bring us your personality along with a professional attitude and
great customer service skills.
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Must maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times
- Must be able to handle cash and credit card transactions as prescribed by standard operating procedures
- Arrive promptly for shift in proper uniform
- Thoroughly complete banquet/portable bar set-up and breakdown for each event
- Must maintain proper handling of all food products and beverage products
- Must perform all side work as required
- Perform additional duties related to job as assigned
- Familiar with common Point-of Sales systems (POS) and feel comfortable using tablets, computers and other technologies. Plus if familiar with golf POS systems.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- 1-2 years of previous banquet bartending experience preferred
- A well-groomed appearance
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- BASSET certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Serv Safe Food Handlers certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Available for at least 1-5 shifts weekly
- Able to stand, sit, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp and bend for up to 5 hours at a time
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, 30 lbs. frequently and 20 lbs. constantly
