Bensalem High School anticipates that we will be hiring a Special Education teacher for a contract position for 2025-2026 School Year for an Intensive Learning Support classroom. This position is part of the BTEA contract. We offer competitive pay and excellent benefits.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- PA Instructional Certificate
- Knowledge of content in certification area
- Classroom/group management skills
- Ability to use instructional materials and equipment
- Knowledge of child growth and development
- Instructional skills
- Planning Skills
- Human Relations Skills
- Ability to communicate and to demonstrate interpersonal skills effectively in dealing with students, staff, parents, community members, and educational agencies as related to performance of the duties of the position.
- Ability to perform routine tasks cooperatively and to adjust to interruptions, variables, or changes in standardized situations.
